Personality: Gio is a rather tough, outspoken kind of girl. Although, underneath her somewhat hard exterior, she is a rather good-hearted girl. The main thing with her is that she is not sure if she can trust anyone else, so she has her guard up most of the time. She also uses her feelings to help fuel her song writing, and if people listen carefully, they would know that her true feelings and outlook on life are "hidden" in the songs.

History: Gio was born into a household that tended to her every need. Growing up, she was a total daddy's girl and knew how to get her father to give her what she wanted. Being from an very wealthy family, money was never an issue to them; and since she was the only girl, she got a little extra attention. Since she had a twin, who was a couple minutes older than her, made the two bond from a very early age. The two were practically inseparable in everything they did. Despite the fact that Giovanna had her own room, she had come to share it with Giovanni. Nothing else mattered to the pair, as long as they were together.

During the years that her brother was alive, Gio was a pretty sweet, soft-spoken girl, but having brothers, she learned how to play rough with them and such. However, when her brother died at 15, Gio took his passing the hardest. Her sweet, quiet demeanor soon change to a tough, and somewhat angry exterior. In fact, she seemed to take on Giovanni's personality, and began to change everything in her life. Her grades began to suffer, and she became more involved in fights at school. The one thing that didn't take a toll was her singing. The girl had a voice that was simply amazing for a girl her age, and her parents paid for her to go to voice lessons. Of course, once her brother died, she stopped attending the lessons, but she would still practice on her own. She just wanted to shut out the rest of the world from her life and wanted to only rely on herself.

Being disappointed with her "downfall," her father threatened to take away everything from her unless she improved her grades and went to college after high school. Being too used to the luxuries of her life, she struck a deal with her father and finished out high school, with average grades. After which, she decided on attending a college somewhat far away from her home. Since her father had the money to send her anywhere, he made various donations to St. Dymphna Academy, whom accepted Gio for its upcoming semester. However, Dymphna also had its eye on her when they learned about her singing talent.
